In the 2-stage process, consisting of a storage tank and drying chamber, 100% air saturation and an exactly adjustable degree of drying are achieved. In a two-stage process, the air heated by a heat exchanger is first led through the final drying area and through the storage area. This also functions as a biofilter and keeps the drying rail dust-free.
Ideally, such systems get to be used in biogas plants. The waste heat can be ideally used for drying materials such as grain, wood chips and other bulk materials. Wood gasification plants are also an ideal field of application for this innovative drying technology.
