Biogas or the biomethane obtained from biogas is CO²-neutral because only the amount of carbon dioxide can be released during the production of biogas, which was absorbed by the plant during its growth. The field remains from it, the straw and also manure from the barn, are now used in a climate-friendly manner for energy production. With the right technology, the use of conventional crops becomes obsolete.
